Capacity is not demand
More production has no revenue case if additional units cannot actually be sold.
ACCOUNT RESEARCH FOR INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SELLERS
A capable plant is not automatically a willing buyer. Research the bottleneck, implementation constraints, sellable output and buying window before committing your sales team.
The accounts. The business case. The next move.
THE PAIN / NOT ANOTHER GENERIC LIST
Before selling time becomes sunk time, test the obstacles.
More production has no revenue case if additional units cannot actually be sold.
Integration, safety, process and installation constraints can block an attractive automation project.
Operations, engineering, finance and procurement rarely arrive in one convenient contact record.
WHAT ALMA HUNTER DELIVERS
Connect your automation capability to an account-specific operating problem and technical context.
Value incremental sellable units at contribution margin, with demand and attribution made explicit.
Research intent, buying roles and material BANT unknowns before recommending the next move.
Illustrative qualification, not a researched account. Unknowns stay unknown.
THE KPIs / TRACK, DO NOT PROMISE
Metrics to monitor—not guaranteed lifts, meetings or sales.
Track accounts your team accepts after technical and commercial review.
Monitor evidence across need, integration, funding, authority and timing.
Validate production, quality, actual demand and attribution—not theoretical throughput.
THE BUYER’S RETURN FROM YOUR SOLUTION
This models your buyer’s return from your solution—not your revenue from buying leads.
YOUR BUYER’S ROI / FICTIONAL INPUTS
YEAR ONE / USD / MODEL, NOT A FORECAST
Positive year-one model. Validate every assumption.
Illustrative, editable assumptions—not validated results, guarantees or Alma service pricing.
Use incremental contribution margin, not gross revenue. Additional capacity only has this value if demand and attribution hold up.
Gross benefit = potential units × economic unit value × realized share.
Full year-one cost = full upfront deployment + annual operating cost. Net = benefit − full cost. Year-one ROI = net ÷ full cost × 100. Each cost is subtracted once.
Simple upfront payback = upfront cost ÷ (annual benefit − annual operating cost) × 12 months, only if annual net benefit is positive. It assumes steady annual realization, not a discounted cash-flow forecast. Year-one break-even units = full year-one cost ÷ realized unit value.
Validate production, quality and demand records; derive contribution from selling price less variable cost.

FROM THE FOUNDER / NOT A CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL
“Finding companies was never the hard part.”

A buyer needs a supported business case—not another profile match.
