Duplicate upkeep
People re-enter or correct account details across tools, but the size of that burden varies by workflow and team.
ACCOUNT RESEARCH FOR CRM AND REVENUE-OPERATIONS SOFTWARE SELLERS
Alma Hunter delivers reviewed account and buyer-fit research for CRM and revenue-operations software teams—without pretending admin-time gains automatically mean more sales, guaranteed leads, or a return on buying leads.
The accounts. The business case. The next move.
THE PAIN / NOT ANOTHER GENERIC LIST
Before selling time becomes sunk time, test the obstacles.
People re-enter or correct account details across tools, but the size of that burden varies by workflow and team.
Different handoffs and data rules can make one tidy CRM workflow behave like several untidy ones.
A promised productivity boost is not a buyer baseline; sales lift should not be smuggled into an admin-time case.
WHAT ALMA HUNTER DELIVERS
Time a defined admin workflow before and after deployment; use the measured difference, not a forecast of sales lift.
Value reclaimed hours only when teams can redeploy them or avoid cost; show software and setup costs once.
Qualify accounts by process complexity, data ownership, integration readiness, and an identifiable admin-time baseline.
Illustrative qualification, not a researched account. Unknowns stay unknown.
THE KPIs / TRACK, DO NOT PROMISE
Metrics to monitor—not guaranteed lifts, meetings or sales.
Learning target: measure baseline and post-change median minutes for the same named account or contact task and comparable samples.
Learning target: count sampled records needing a correction or repeat entry, using the same definition and review period.
Learning target: record hours actually reassigned to useful work or tied to documented avoidable cost; do not count theoretical time as realized value.
THE BUYER’S RETURN FROM YOUR SOLUTION
This models your buyer’s return from your solution—not your revenue from buying leads.
YOUR BUYER’S ROI / FICTIONAL INPUTS
YEAR ONE / USD / MODEL, NOT A FORECAST
Below year-one break-even. Revisit the case—not the arithmetic.
Illustrative, editable assumptions—not validated results, guarantees or Alma service pricing.
Fictional USD illustration, not a market benchmark: full year-one cost = one-time upfront cost + annual ongoing cost; gross benefit = annual admin hours × USD per labor hour × realized share/100; net = gross benefit − cost; ROI = net/cost × 100. Count costs once. Realized share means the portion of measured time converted into useful capacity or cost avoided—not probability of project success. No sales uplift or Alma lead-purchase return is included.
Gross benefit = potential units × economic unit value × realized share.
Full year-one cost = full upfront deployment + annual operating cost. Net = benefit − full cost. Year-one ROI = net ÷ full cost × 100. Each cost is subtracted once.
Simple upfront payback = upfront cost ÷ (annual benefit − annual operating cost) × 12 months, only if annual net benefit is positive. It assumes steady annual realization, not a discounted cash-flow forecast. Year-one break-even units = full year-one cost ÷ realized unit value.
Track samples of a named CRM admin workflow before and after deployment; log task time, rework and usage, then validate redeployment or avoidable cost. Kaplan and Anderson's time-driven costing paper describes using activity times and quantities to estimate resource use; local measurements and workflow variation matter.
